April 6th 2012 – Orlando, Fla. – RL Haines is proud to support our friends at Helpful Hands by sponsoring its 2nd annual golf tournament. The event was held on April 2nd at Alaqua Lakes, and raised funds and awareness for the charity that provide support beyond the basic necessities of life for families in crisis.

March 29th, 2012 – Tampa, Fla. – RL Haines was awarded the contract for Courtesy Hyundai of Tampa, located at 3800 W. Hillsborough Avenue. The project consists of demolition followed by the new construction of a 15,745 square-foot showroom. Construction will begin in late March 2012 and completion is scheduled for Fall 2012.

March 27th, 2012 – Orlando, Fla. – Aristocrat Volkswagen East will open its doors for business in Spring 2012. Check out the birds-eye views of the construction progress of the new dealership located on Colonial Drive at the 408 in East Orlando.

March 19th, 2012 – Orlando, Fla. – RL Haines awarded the ABC-UCF student chapter with with a $2,000 check from the Steve Blanton Memorial Scholarship Fund for its upcoming competition. In April, the student chapter will compete against teams from across the country at ABC’s EdCon & Expo Student Chapter Construction Management Competition. The competition gives the nation’s top construction management students a glimpse into the real world of construction, as well as an opportunity to showcase their talents.

The Steve Blanton Memorial Scholarship Fund supports industry education throughout Central Florida. The fund was established to honor Steve Blanton, senior project manager at RL Haines, who passed away in 2009.

January 11th, 2012 – Orlando, Fla. –  What do you get when you take four RL Haines aprons, 100 tortillas and four estimators? A Mexican feast for our friends staying at the Ronald McDonald House! Kudos to our estimating team for helping to “Share-A-Meal” this month.
