December 2, 2009 – Lake Mary, Fla. – Rob Reynolds has been appointed to the ITT Technical Institute Construction Advisory Committee. As a board member, he will assist in program development and serve a two-year term. Reynolds is a senior estimator for RL Haines General Contractor, where he manages the bidding team and maintains strong subcontractor and client relationships. He has been with the company since 2008. Great job, Rob!

November 12, 2009  – Orlando, Fla. – We’re growing at RL Haines – with two new employees to our team:

Donnie Langdale has been hired as superintendent. He brings more than 41 years of construction experience to the team.

Angela Blackburn has been hired as accounts payable for the company’s Orlando office. She brings more than five years of accounting and operations experience to RL Haines.

November 4, 2009  – Orlando, Fla. – Mimi Scanlon was recently named Commercial Real Estate for Women’s 2009 Rising Star of the Orlando chapter. The award recognizes outstanding members and the contributions and achievements they have made to CREW Orlando throughout the year.

Scanlon manages all marketing and public relations activities RL Haines General Contractor. She has been with the company since 2006.

October 2, 2009 – Sanford, Fla. – RL Haines recently broke ground on a new collision center located at 1160 Rinehart Road. In concert with The Zenner Group, Inc. and Civil Solutions Incorporated, the project will include complete new construction of the 47,000 square-foot building. The new collision center, on the site of the David Maus Toyota Scion Dealership, will feature 15 service bays and eight paint booths. Project completion is scheduled for May 2010.

September 20, 2009 – Tampa, Fla. – RL Haines General Contractor was recently awarded the contract for Optical Outlets located at 6431 Country Line Road. The project consists of a 1,296 square-foot interior build-out.
