October 17th, 2010 – Orlando, Fla.- RL Haines’  “Pink Hard Hat Team” raised more than $1,400 for the Susan G. Komen Central Florida Race for the Cure.

While we might not have finished the race in first place, RL Haines is proud to support causes aimed at ending breast cancer!

October 11th, 2010 – Sanford, Fla.- Progress continues on the construction of David Maus Chevrolet, located at 972 Towne Center Blvd.  The 60,250 square-foot facility is on track for completion in Spring 2011.

September 27th, 2010 – Jacksonville, Fla. – RL Haines recently completed the construction of Tire Kingdom, located at 13786 Beach Blvd.

In concert with On Architecture, the project consisted of ground-up construction and site work for the 6,336 square-foot facility.

Congratulations to store manager Ben Hammond for the successful grand opening of Tire Kingdom!

September 24th, 2010 – Jacksonville, Fla. -  RL Haines and the First Coast Apartment Association recently named ten students recipients of the first annual Jessi A. Foster Memorial Scholarship. Each recipient received a $100 scholarship used toward his Certificate for Apartment Maintenance Technicians training at the First Coast Apartment Association.

Jessi Foster was a Jacksonville native and valued employee at RL Haines General Contractor. He passed away suddenly on February 18^th, 2010 due to Bacterial Meningitis, at the age of only 27. His passion was for building and hands-on construction projects. Not only did he shine in his career, his magnetic personality made him the brightest light in every room. We are proud to continue his legacy in the construction industry through his annual Scholarship!

September 17th, 2010 – Orlando, Fla. – RL Haines was recently named one of Central Florida’s top 100 privately held companies by the Orlando Business Journal. The Golden 100 award honors companies for their business excellence and this is the third consecutive year RL Haines has been named a recipient. Congratulations to all of the winners!
